What Stu is

Stu is a personal SMS-based study tool. You send study material to a phone number; Stu texts you questions to help you learn it.

What we collect

• Your phone number (used to send and receive messages)
• Study material you send (PDFs, images, text)
• Your answers to study questions
• Message history between you and Stu

How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate the study tool — generating questions, tracking your progress, and scheduling messages. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing purposes.

Data storage

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Study material and message history are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by replying STOP to opt out, or by contacting us directly.

Third-party services

Stu uses the following services to operate:

• Twilio — SMS delivery
• Anthropic — AI question generation and answer evaluation
• Supabase — database
• Vercel — hosting

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. No personal data is shared with these services beyond what is necessary to deliver the Stu experience.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe at any time.
